Great product well finished and easy software app

ive had due battery set ups in my cars for year but a black out at home earlier this year made me come to the realisation that for all the investment in a camp battery set up in my truck lacked versatility in the off moments you need battery back up. with my knew car I’m running a Delta 2 max with the alternator charger. recently ran a test at home and could run our fridge, internet and 1 x tv for 24hours before charging. looking forward to running this test with a solar blanket plugged in. Much neater, easier to set up, more versatile for more situations and easily transferable to the next vehicle . Absolute no brainer!

Very good power station fast charging and rasy to set up. Light and easy to carry.

I have recently purchased the Delta 2 Max as an 'in-vehicle' power source for road trips when not bringing the caravan. The Ecoflow is now solely powering our 75L fridge as well as other bits and pieces as required, this has included Ryobi tool batteries, laptops, starlink, phones etc. I would usually review products after 12 months but here's the initial +/-'s:

- The website was INCREDIBLY poorly formatted... I initially found a sale link through Facebook ads (which included the solar panel as a bonus), there were website deals for certain bundle combinations, on my laptop were different sales deals again and promo codes worked for the laptop that did not work for the phone! DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE in determining what product you are buying and what items are included in that bundle - many of the Ecoflows have similar names/ similar stats displayed that feel indistinguishable.

+ Snagged a fantastic sale offer on the website that was honored by the company. This included the Delta 2 Max, solar panel AND 800w alternator charger ($2548!)
These bonuses WERE NOT displayed clearly on the sales invoice however and then a second revised order invoice was issued later. It was delivered very quickly to Cairns (where we were traveling through.)
+ The 800w charger is exceptionally powerful and functional, I cannot determine if some cars 'cannot power' the 800w, but our Toyota SUV charges 620w at idle and 800w whilst driving.
+ The carry handles are sturdy and comfortably positioned for movement/ strapping down.
+ Great range of power points and safe powering cable from the 800w charger into the Ecoflow itself.
+ Wiring kit is easy to work with and feels durable. My specific installers had noted this prior.
+ Ecoflow box charges very quickly on 240v plugins.
- The 240v power cord provided in the box is extremely short, you have to be within a meter of a 240v socket (you may have to remove a heavy battery box out of your car and sit it right beside a powerpoint).
- The solar panel wiring kit provided is a unique design but the cable is also extremely short. My installer adapted a 10m cable which has been extremely helpful for keeping the 220w right in the sun during the day.
- 12v socket isn't consistent in its fit from device to device. The fridge 12v falls in/out 100 times when driving over corrugations; - this can be remedied by switching to a 240v during driving and back to 12v when camping. That being said, the 240v does drain power much quicker when stationary (sleeping at night) when there's a constant minor load (fridge).
+ These items look the part, they are sleek, durable, great heat dispersion and easy to understand as an everyday user.
+/- The total Watt hours provided with the Delta 2 Max can power our fridge for about 30hours without additional power inputs. During raining days you have SOME time before you need the sun to come back or to have to run the car for an hour or two.

I am about to spend 2-3 weeks traveling up to Cape York with only the car. Powering the laptop, fridge, phones, starlink for this time MAY be a challenge IF the Sun is hidden. That feels extremely unlikely and IF the Ecoflow can power this trip for such a long period of time - it may be one of the best purchases I've made for traveling and running a business on the road!

(4WD off-grid setup) I’ve recently upgraded my fridge to include a Dometic CFX5 75 fridge freezer. While it features class leading efficiency, the freezer power draw combined with my other items was placing more demand on my 1024wh delta 2 than I had intended. My 200w flexi solar works well, but wintertime or shady campsites were a punish. The standard cig plug car charging was painfully slow, and the Delta 2 design meant I was needing to switch input cables between the solar and car charge - not ideal. By adding the alternator charger, the somewhat limited capacity of 1024wh is no longer an issue. As I reach the next campsite I’m always at 100% charge. Being able to keep solar and car charge input running all the time and simultaneously also yields a significant advantage. The installation is very simple compared to conventional 4WD dual battery systems or smart isolator switches. Noting that a lithium jump starter battery pack is around $150-200 it’s also a little bonus to know the alternator charger can quickly charge up the vehicle starter battery if flat. My 4WD spotlights (supernova/altiq) have a significant draw, but the alternator charger can be dialed up or down to ensure I don’t drain the battery or overwork the vehicle alternator. The system is still very fast running at 75% and I’m glad I opted for the slightly more expensive 800W unit rather than the 500W version. Honestly this piece of equipment is the key to the whole Ecoflow product ecosystem. Highly recommend. Insta @followglen Happy travels everyone
